Jennifer Ybarra is a VP at a top performing digital ad agency and a mom of 5.
Jennifer hired us to create a new lifestyle brand and portfolio website that would showcase her 20+ years of experience to potential employers and document her journey as a new wife and mom to a blended family of 6. Oh — and her love for cats.
Our strategy was to combine Jennifer’s professional accomplishments with her lifestyle content. We did that by creating a brand, website, and curated stock library that was fun but sophisticated.
The final brand pulled together all the elements of Jennifer’s life and career, while still leaving a hint of mystery to engage her audience’s curiosity.
Sources of Inspiration
Based on the time we spent getting to know Jennifer during the brand consult, we knew she tended to lean towards earthy colors, modern decor, organic textures, and geometric shapes. Her final brand colors included earthy yet feminine tones accentuated by a geometric pattern with copper gradient accents.
Branding & Collateral
When building out Jennifer’s logos, we wanted the fonts to portray a feminine yet trendy vibe that oozed the modern woman and sophistication. The earthy tones and soft greens, which match Jennifer’s eyes perfectly, added an approachable element to each logo variation.

The copy for Jennifer’s website needed to accomplish two things: show off her incredible work ethic, and make it clear that she’s a whole person outside of work with a real life and family adventures. We made those goals a reality by writing copy that’s reflective of how Jen speaks and doesn’t pull any punches.

Jennifer’s website showcased not only her professional career via her portfolio and passions for social responsibility, but also showcased her personality. We wanted the real Jennifer to shine through via the content and imagery. Her photos, both original and stock, flowed seamlessly, connecting every page to the next, telling a story as the user browsed.
