Q: What software should I use for my coaching calls?
We see this question all the time.
There are so many software options out there to book and conduct coaching calls, and they are honestly all GREAT. We’ve used them all for different situations and different clients and they all serve their purpose.
Plus, there are new ones popping up daily due to the current demand. Facebook just launched Rooms (Hey Zuck, we see you 😉) and Google just launched Meet. And let’s not forget platforms like Profi, which not only offers a comprehensive solution for coaching management but also provides HIPAA compliant video conferencing.
To be honest, the real question isn’t which you should use, but which one is right for you?
For scheduling and booking calls, I strongly recommend Calendly and we use them as an example in our coaching website templates. 🙌🏽 Calendly has a ton of amazing features and it’s easy to use. It syncs with your calendar, allows you to set up pre-booking questions, send text reminders, and more.
If you have advanced funnels, I’d recommend going with Acuity. Acuity does everything Calendly does but they offer a little more when it comes to syncing with email marketing platforms and setting up advanced marketing funnels.
For your actual coaching calls, I recommend using Zoom. 🤳🏽 Zoom syncs with both Calendly and Acuity and is the easiest video software to use, even if your clients are low tech.

If you are a Google fan, another option is Google Hangouts or Google Meet. Google Meet just launched this week and I am a HUGE fan of keeping everything in my inbox, which is where I spend most of my time before and after coaching calls.
But please… do your own research. Every business is unique and different. Some additional questions you should ask yourself as you choose:
Do you do video coaching calls?
Do you charge per call or per package?
Do you have advanced funnels that need to connect with your calls?
What email platform do you use?
What payment processor do you use?
Does your business rely heavily on Facebook?
